As part of the Education Programme associated with the exhibition,
which has been made possible by the Ernest Cook Trust,
the Holst Birthplace Museum is offering:

The art of the English Romantic painter Theodor von Holst is increasingly recognised as a significant link between the extraordinary genius of Blake and Fuseli and the next wave of great British figurative artists spearheaded by the Pre-Raphaelites. Dante Gabriel Rossetti was Holst’s greatest admirer and this bicentenary celebration of his ‘great painter’ provides an opportunity to glimpse why, as more and more work emerges into the light once more.
